I’m a single guy, and I want my bedroom to look stylish for chicks. Any advice on a matching set of sheets that doesn’t look too girlie or totally bachelor pad?
Go for feel. Spring for sheets from a luxury maker like D. Porthault, Pratesi, or Frette; considering you spend a third of your life between them, they’re worth it. I like my sheets plain and simple, in white, cream, or gray, with maybe a subtle stripe. Avoid op art. Less is more in linens. Often women have highly developed tactile senses, and luxury sheets will speak to your aestheticism and possibly make up for the rough skin on your knees and elbows.
